Dog tired

My name is Kirsty and I am an avid dog lover. I have had dogs all my life, and a few years ago I saw an opportunity to help out at Monika's doggie rescue walking dogs. When they moved, I realised I wanted to continue helping out, which led me to the RSPCA. I have been there for a year and a half, and really love it. The more time I spent there the more time I realised the corporate world was no longer for me, and tinkered with the idea of working with animals but wasn't sure in what capacity. 

Until last year whenI had to leave my own beloved cat, Tinky, for 2 weeks to attend a friends wedding in country Victoria. Whilst I had my mother feeding him every day she didn't have time so spend with him, so I returned to one very disgruntled and distressed kitty. Unfortunately I had no-one else to call on as everyone had gone away on holiday, being christmas. I vowed never to leave him alone for that long again, and so after much soul searching, and planning, Dog tired was born. 

From the very beginning I decided my service was going to be different from the others. Each animal is unique and has their own personality, so they each need their own routine. l tailor my services to suit your pets individual needs so they get the very best care possible. 

Most importantly though is something I will never lose sight of- my business was born from a true love of animals.
